Detached and spacious family home near stunning sandy beach - Bournemouth

Detached, Edwardian family home on tree lined avenue, 20 minutes walk from seven miles of stunning sandy beach.

We have a lovely cat, Pickle who will need feeding twice a day.

We have a big kitchen with a dining area next to it, and an exercise room with mats and stereo next to that. The dining area has a sliding door opening onto the garden. We have a large living room with a smart TV with Netflix, sofa and day bed.

Our garden is a good size and south facing garden including a patio with table and chairs, a deck which gets the evening sun, grass and a trampoline which is sunk into the lawn and hammocks.

There is a double bedroom and two single bedrooms, a shower room (there is no bath in the house) and a downstairs toilet. Our road has unrestricted on street parking.

About the location

It`s about 1 mile by foot or bike to Bournemouth`s endless sandy beach. You can walk through Kings Park and Woodland Walk to the cliff top and then down the `zig zag` path to the beach. Boscombe beach has a trim trail, rocks for kids to climb, a pier, a Harvester and a trendy bar and restaurant called Urban Reef.

We are also close to the train station, many bus routes, supermarkets and Boscombe (a Victorian suburb of Bournemouth).

Boscombe high street is in walking distance and has plenty of shops, Boscanova Cafe, a library and a querky pub/ live music venue (Cellar bar/ Chaplins) and the O2 academy.

At the end of our street is a huge park with a new children`s playground (including zip wires!). There is a swimming pool with steam room and sauna a short walk away and we`re also in walking distance of Bournemouth football stadium.

Bournemouth town centre is a short drive/ bus / cycle ride away. Originally a genteel Victorian holiday destination, these days Bournemouth is a thriving and cosmopolitan seaside resort and university town. As well as the stunning beach Bournemouth has an oceanarium, new multiplex cinema, bowling, the Russel cotes museum, many restaurants, the Pavilion theatre/ Pavilion Dance and Bournemouth International Centre, several lovely `chines` (wooded, linear parks running from the town to the seafront), Hengistbury Head nature reserve and much more.

Family activities in the surrounding area include Adventure Wonderland, Farmer Palmers, Moors Valley country park, Splashdown, Snowtrax dry skiing, the Odeon and Paultons Park (Pepper Pig World).

If you prefer to get away from it all the conurbation is surrounded by beautiful countryside, with easy access to the Purbecks, Dorset and the New Forest.
