Built in the 1920's - Sherwood Forest

Our house is fairly large and on the doorstep of Sherwood Forest, for any budding archers and merry men! Downstairs we have a big kitchen diner, with an open music/games room off that, in an L-shape. There's also a separate playroom, a living room and downstairs boot room/loo. There is a cellar but I wouldn't recommend venturing down there! Upstairs are 3 large bedrooms. The master has a super king size bed, one room has bunk beds with a double on the bottom and the third bedroom has a double bed. The attic has 2 double beds in. There is one bathroom and a downstairs loo. Plenty of parking. A garden, with decking, and a BBQ.

About the location

We live in the countryside. Rufford abbey, Clumber park (national trust) and Sherwood Forest and Sherwood pines are our nearest attractions. Nottingham, Lincoln (beautiful old city) and Sheffield are all about 40 minutes drive away. London is about a 2 hour drive or just over an hour on the train from Newark (which is 15minutes drive away). We're fairly central so a good base for anywhere in England. There is a Go-ape and Segway centre in the woods about 10 minutes drive away. Lots of walking and bike rides. Beach is about an hour drive. We're in between the Peak District and the Yorkshire dales, for any keen outdoors types!
