Brandnew house - Eichkogl, Austria

The sun will wake you up in the morning looking through the branches from the wood and the birds give you a warm welcome in the morning.

Well the sun shines the whole day in one of the rooms and in the evening there is almost every day a wonderful sunset.

My house has a small hall, a big living room where the kitchen and dining area is as well. From there you can walk outside on the terrace with a comfortable sitting area and a Jacuzzi.

One bedroom with a queensize bed and the bathroom is next door. A small extra room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Parking space for at least two large cars.

About the location

This area is called Vulcano land and in the surroundings are many Thermal water Spas.

Many wonderful renovated castles are around with very good restaurants nearby.

The farmers grow wine and different kind of fruits in this area. Nearby is a charming chocolate factory where you can have a look inside and free taste of any kind of chocolate (which I can really recommend!). Also a nice cheese factory were you can taste cheese and wine too.

The famous south Styrian wine street stars only few kilometers from my house, where you are invited to visit the wine cellar and taste the wine.

Only 30 min by car or train, you can reach the main city of Styria with a very old and untouched town center. It's a city of about 250,000. Many different concerts, operas, museum, theater and cinemas. Also great restaurants and traditional Austrian coffee houses.

In the surrounding there are mountains where you can hike or in winter go skiing. Caves, amazing Gorges with waterfalls and many huts which offer something Austrian traditional food for less money, so that there is no need to take your own food with you.
