This recently renovated spacious, self-catering, apartment 110sqm, is on the 1st & 2nd floors and is in an ideal location for family holidays as it is situated in private grounds accessed by an electronic security gate. On the first floor there is a kitchen/diner plus spacious living room. On the second floor there are two spacious en-suite bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with twin beds. The fifth guest would need to be a child as there is a fold down bed that is only suitable for a child and can be placed in either of the two bedrooms.

The apartment has a private car port behind security gates. There is a communal garden with well established flowers/shrubs and a communal swimming pool 20m x 10m which is open between May and September.

The apartment can be enjoyed in all seasons of the year.

All rooms have beamed ceilings and tiled floors.

All windows have insect blinds and shutters. There are fans in the bedrooms and living room.

All bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided.

About the location

Residence `Corte Campedella` is a beautiful prestigious gated complex located amongst the vineyards in Bande, Cavriana, on one of the 10 food and wine roads of Lombardy: `La Strada dei Vini e Sapori Mantovani` and hence a paradise for lovers of Italian food and wine. The condominium consists of 12 privately owned apartments in the peaceful Morainic hills just a 15 minute drive from Sirmione or Desenzano, on the southern shore of Lake Garda. The building was owned by the Gonzaga family from 13th-18th centuries. The apartment is located on the battlefields of the 1859 Battle of Solferino as a result of which, the International Red Cross was formed. Bande, Cavriana is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site.

The summer Verona opera is easily accessible as is Venice, either by car or train from Desenzano. Milan is also just over an hour by train from Desenzano.

All water sports are available on Lake Garda and skiing is possible in the winter on Monte Baldo, Malcesine which is just over an hour`s drive from the apartment.

There are several golf courses within driving distance of the apartment.

The apartment is 40 minutes from Verona airport (British Airways), 1 hour from Milan Bergamo airport (Ryanair), 1.5hrs from Milan Linate (British Airways) and 2 hrs from Milan Malpensa (easyjet)
