The Bullpen

Our home is 3 Bed barn conversion with a large garden in Northumberland. Only 2 miles from the market town of Morpeth, 15 mins from the beach.

We have a large living room with three sofas, dining table and wood burning stove and an additional sitting area we refer to as the "garden room" - very light and can be accessed straight from the double doors of the kitchen.

The garden is a good size and allows a number of shaded seating areas as well as a large paved section to the right (as you look at the photograph) which we use for those sociable summer evenings with a bbq and a few glasses!!!

For the children there is a trampoline, basketball hoop and football net in the garden.

About the location

The Bull Pen is one of 5 converted barns in a shared courtyard with very nice neighbours - it is semi rural with the back garden surrounded by very high trees but only 5 mins drive to the busy market town of Morpeth with lots of restaurants, shops and a park.

Only 2 miles from the market town of Morpeth, 15 mins from the beach with many more beaches, golf courses, castles (including Alnwick Gardens) and country walks nearby. Newcastle is abround 17 miles - about 25 mins in the car or 15 by train.

We have some stunning beaches only 15 mins drive away - Cresswell, on Druridge Bay, is the closest but travel another 30 mins north to discover Warkworth, Alnmouth, Bamburgh and Beadnell on the Northumberland Heritage Coast
