Victorian terraced house in the Lake District

We have a Victorian terraced house on a no through road in Kendal, close to town, station, park and countryside. Good for public transport.

Downstairs is a dining room, lounge with wood burner and kitchen diner. Upstairs are three bedrooms (2 double/1 single) and a bathroom. The third large attic bedroom includes a nice picture window with views across the town and into the fells. (Please note the double in the loft room has a low bed under the eaves).

There is a lovely small back garden that faces west to catch the evening sun. Parking is on the street.

PS We are happy to have a dog in our house but not cats as Phil is very allergic to them.

About the location

This is of course the English Lake District but the area offers a lot more. Kendal is also as close (20 mins) to the Yorkshire Dales as it is to Ambleside. The coast is nearby too and Manchester, Liverpool and Edinburgh are within straightforward train rides.

Kendal itself is a picturesque market town which can serve as a base for many trips and yet is a destination in its own right.
