Mountain Cottage
Our cottage is in a friendly village on a mountain on the border of Eryri National Park with views over the Carneddau mountain range. We have a child friendly 1 acre garden and field with chickens. Looking after them is optional as we can ask neighbours to do that! We also have a very friendly cat who lives in the house which means we can't accomodate pets.
There is room for 4 people in our converted stable which serves as our spare rooms.
In the main house there are 3 bedrooms.
About the location
Our village is situated on a mountain between Bethesda and Llanberis which is a village at the foot of Snowdon. There are plenty of moorland and river walks and cycle rides from the house, and lakes and big mountain walks within a 10 minute drive. We are also near some great mountain biking sites. There are fantastic coastal walks (the Wales Coast Path) within 15 minutes drive and beaches to explore on Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula, between 30 minutes and an hour away.
We are also within easy reach of shops in Bangor, Conwy and Llandudno. North Wales is great for foodies, with plenty of pubs and restaurants scattered around the towns and villages. The area is heaven for outdoor enthusiasts of all descriptions!
