Our home is a lovely Edwardian house in leafy Crouch End. It has five bedrooms two of which are on offer in the house swap. The others are used as an office each and a studio on the top floor. The two bedrooms which are It has a separate bathroom, a shower room and downstairs WC.

The house has been totally refurbished to provide a lovely warm and cosy home. The property is centrally heated and all rooms are double glazed. There is a new bathroom and shower room. It has stripped pine floors and an open fireplace in the sitting room.

There are two ground floor living rooms and a kitchen/diner overlooking a pretty urban garden.

On the first floor is a double bedroom and bathroom. On the second floor is a double bedroom and shower room. The house is really suited to a couple or two couples travelling together. The open plan stairs to the top floor are not suitable for young children.

About the location

Crouch End is a leafy area of North London which is friendly and safe. We overlook Alexandra Palace which is a lovely green space with a boating lake and nature reserve. We are a short walk from Hornsey High Street with its bakeries, supermarkets, pubs and cafes and close to Crouch End itself with a myriad of bars and restaurants and great shopping. We have two cinemas within walking distance and a new theatre and cinema at Finsbury Park. There is also the newly refurbished Victorian theatre at Alexandra Palace. For the more adventurous there is a great ice rink and Go Ape at Alexandra Palace! There is an excellent bus service to Finsbury Park underground or a short stroll through Alexandra Park takes you to the overground to Kings Cross and Moorgate in Central London. There is also an indoor and open air swimming pool within walking distance. Highgate Wood and Queen's Wood are also accessible along the Parkland Walk.
