Cassidy Villa, Roumeli, Crete

Our Cretan home is a small detached villa at the edge of the traditional working village of Roumeli, enjoying a quiet location and breath-taking panoramic views, just 5 minutes drive from the gorgeous unspoilt fishing village of Panormo and 20 minutes from historic cultural Rethymno. The cities of Heraklion and Chania are each within 1 hour`s drive via the easily accessible National Road.

The villa is bright, airy, comfortable and easy to look after. One of the 2 bedrooms is a guest apartment with its own private entrance and en-suite bathroom. Outside is a lovely south-facing covered terrace, other shaded areas giving privacy for dining, hobbies or relaxation, and a private 32 sq m swimming pool.

Roumeli is a perfect base from which to explore Crete, and the use of our car is included in the exchange. Life in the village has its own special charms; you can walk for miles through the olive groves, make friends with the locals and enjoy the famous Cretan hospitality at the village kafenion, or visit the raki still.

Our interest is in longer exchanges. We have plans in place for 2024, but would be delighted to hear from exchangers interested in an exchange of 5+ weeks mid-August - mid-September 2025.
