Brand new detached bungalow set in a village in the vines - Salleboeuf

My new home is set on the edge of a pretty village only 15 km from the exciting city of Bordeaux. It benefits from all the latest modern comforts including underfloor heating and air conditioning, satellite TV and WIFI.

In the entrance hall we have a big cupboard for coats and shoes with mirrored sliding doors. There is a separate Wc with wash hand basin and a small utility room with sink and washing machine.

The fully fitted kitchen is separated from the dining area of the sunny, bright living room by a breakfast bar. 2.4m wide glass sliding doors open on to the big terrace and a new aluminium pergola with opening roof slats provides a shady sitting area next to the pool. A 5m wide awning shades the west side of the house from the afternoon and evening summer sun.

Main Bedroom Suite: Fitted carpet. Walk-in wardrobe with sliding mirrored door. French doors on to the south garden. Private, en-suite Shower Room/WC with twin wash basins. Big walk-in shower area.

There are two more bedrooms with carpeted floors. In one there is a 1m60 king size
bed and two single beds in the other. In the family bathroom there is a bath and twin wash basins.

My VW Touran will be on the drive waiting for you. Don’t forget that you will need international driving licences. We will also leave 2 bikes for you to enjoy including one electric bike.

About the location

There is an excellent boulangerie in the village for your morning croissants and baguette and a short 7 minute drive finds the larger village of Fargues St Hilaire with a good size supermarket, banks and shops for daily needs plus restaurants. Even closer,about 800 m from our home is the local supermarket.

There is a wonderful gourmet restaurant in Salleboeuf called “Les Secrets Château Pey La Tour”

Our new home is set in a village mid-way between the beautiful and exciting town of Bordeaux and the village of St Emilion, famous the world over for its wine.

For those who enjoy the sea there are wonderful beaches at Arcachon and all along the coast you can enjoy swimming, surfing or boating. There are some beautiful lakes just to the south of Bordeaux and the forests of the Landes offer wonderful cycle paths for walks or bike rides.
We are sure you will enjoy a wonderful relaxing holiday here. For the days when you want to get out and explore you will find brochures in the house telling of the numerous places to visit and activities in the region.
