Vancouver Island
Beautifully renovated character home in an established neighborhood which is only a 10-15 minute walking distance to the ocean, shopping villages, downtown centres, the famous Victoria harbour, beautiful gardens and parks, and a host of tourist attractions.
Our 100-year-old character home has been extensively renovated with a very modern open plan design, spacious layout, large windows in every room, wooden oak flooring throughout, which opens out to a expansive wooden deck at the back. There are 3 bedrooms (one downstairs), large sunny office with a fireplace (gas), a living room with fireplace (gas), 2 1/2 bathrooms and an open kitchen and dining room which open out to a wooden patio for summer relaxing and eating. The laundry is on the main floor which opens out to the deck. The house sits above rock walled gardens of native trees, grape vines, roses, and a variety of flowering bushes and plants (perennials & annuals) not only at the front but also at the sides and the back.
The major attraction of our neighborhood (Fairfield) is its proximity to many of the tourist attractions in Victoria which are short walking distances away [INVALID] such as the ocean (10 mins), Parliament, harbour attractions, museums, downtown hotels & restaurants (15 min), Beacon Hill Park (5 mins) which is rated one of the 10 iconic attractions in Canada because it`s not only a large park of handsome native trees, beautiful gardens, totem poles, lakes & bridges, native birds and ducks, but also for the variety of public activities such as a petting farm, golf putting green, tennis courts, cricket ground, lawn bowling, children`s play grounds, performing arena and much more. Also, the park has many entrances and exits to the downtown areas and local villages (Cook Street) and the ocean.
