9. 4 mins walk to the 15 bus that runs to town every 15 mins
10. From town take buses to every tourist sight on the island (Durrell Zoo, War Tunnels, Amazin Maze, Mont Orgeil, Gorey village, every beach, La Houge Bie, Noirmont Point etc)

About the location

Jersey, Channel Islands, is a beautiful 8x5 mile island surrounded by superb beaches suitable for every possible water based activity (surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, diving etc). There are a range of cliff path, green lane and less arduous south coast walks (search: walkinJerseychannel islands).

There are lots of historic sites & museums especially for WWII enthusiasts. The "Battle of Flowers" is an annual festival held in August, and French markets often come to visit as Jersey is less than an hour's ferry to St Malo in the North of France, making it an ideal location for a day trip with Condor Ferries. The town has a good nightlife/music bars.

Our house is a 4 min walk to the beach, and promenade which has a dedicated cycle path and walkway. The paths can take you all the way around the island (there is a 47 mile annual island walk) but for the less adventurous just take the 15 minute stoll to the beautiful fishing village of St Aubin's, or the one hour hike along the beach into town.
