We live in a 300 year old barn which has been converted into a comfortable detached country home, surrounded by large, well tended gardens, with seating and dining areas and beautiful countryside views.

The house is fully equiped with all mod cons, including Sky HD Multi-room.
We have a large lounge, separate dining room, large kitchen diner and three double bedrooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite shower room, there is a family bathroom with built-in shower and separate bath and a further cloakroom on the ground floor.

About the location

West Buckland is a small village, located approx. 1 mile from the A361, North Devon Link Road, 7 miles from South Molton and 10 miles from Barnstaple.

We do have an active Village Hall, where there is fairly regular weekend entertainment, quiz nights and pub nights, music nights.

The pretty church, the tower dates back to the 14c, is located in the centre of the village. On a Tuesday afternoon the post office is held here. We also serve tea and coffee, so people tend to gather together for a `natter`.

There are local shops in South Molton, a small Sainsbury’s supermarket and a market twice weekly on Thursday and Saturday mornings.
Lots of shops in Barnstaple and a market, of some description, (food, antiques, crafts, bric-a-brac ) everyday but Sunday.

For those who enjoy walking, the Tarka Trail passes the end of our driveway and it is only a short car journey to the beauty and wilds of Exmoor and the wonderfully scenic South West Coastal Path.
For any surfers and beach lovers we are approximately 40 minutes by car from the fabulous North Devon beaches.

There are numerous National Trust properties and gardens in the area.

We are 45 minutes drive from the mainline station at Tiverton Parkway, with hourly, fast trains to London.
