About us

We are both retired. Anne, born in Lima, Peru, educated in the UK & Canada, owned a very successful 14-bedroom B&B Inn in downtown Ottawa for 17 years which she ran with her Mother whom she brought over from England. Previously, she worked in several Embassies in Ottawa, London and Lima. Bruce, born in Toronto and attended the University of Toronto, has been retired for many years having worked for Shell & Moore companies. He has sung in the Church Choir for most of his life and is a Mason & was a Circus Chairman, now Chairman Emeritus, for the Shriners for a number of years. We enjoy travelling the world, theatre, reading and enjoy meeting people.
In Lima, Peru, we also have a 2 bedroom plus den furnished condo on the 11th floor. The two bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms plus guest/powder room. Laundry area off fully equipped kitchen. This is a brand new 2011 building located on the border of Miraflores & Barranco and just one short block from the Malecon (promenade) with breath taking views of the Pacific Ocean. Easy access by car (car included) to the Costa Verde beaches and fine dining where you can taste the exquisite flavours of Peruvian cuisine from world renowned chefs such as Gaston Acurio who owns many restaurants in Lima as well as New York, Madrid & Buenos Aires. This is available for rent on a long term basis from April 6th to November 30, 2012 at US$1600 per month all inclusive or shorter terms. Amenities include telephone, TV, internet, car. Sleeps 4.
