We live in a 4 storey victorian townhouse in a quiet, leafy part of Exeter, 10mins walk from the City Centre. The house has plenty of room for a large family with four big double bedrooms and loads of period features and a well integrated garden.
Exeter's cafe culture has really come on and town is a good place to explore. However the real attraction is the coast and countryside. Within half an hour there's pretty much every type of activity you could hope for from theme parks to spendid wilderness and unspoilt beaches. You can be anywhere in the SW peninsula within an easy day trip (so the Eden Project, surfing beaches and S Devon estuaries, National Marine Aquarium etc. are within easy striking distance).
