Barneys Cottage

Barneys Cottage is situated on the Wild Atlantic Way
Part of the house is a renovated cottage dating from the 1800`s. It has a large and peaceful garden often frequented by pheasants. There is a deck on one aspect and patio with outdoor fireplace ,chiminea and firepit

We are in a rural location a mile from a beautiful surfing beach which has a great restaurant/bar situated on the cliffs above, as well as a cafe.

We are 15 minutes from the reputedly oldest town in Ireland and 20 minutes from the lively seaside resort of Bundoran which has surfing schools, an adventure centre, a riding school and golf course.

There are a least 3 other unspoilt beautiful beaches within 20 minutes drive.

Some of the best diving in Ireland is about 40 minutes drive away at St Johns Point.

Donegal has some of the wildest most beautiful coast line in Europe.
We also have a mobile home on site which can accomodate 6-8 people.Pet care would be welcomed but not expected.

About the location

Beautiful coastal location 8 km Ballyshannon,19 km Donegal town. Thirty minute drive to Mullaghmore and 30km to Slieve League cliffs.
