The flat us south-facing and is on the second floor of a late 1930s apartment block - perfect for admirers of deco/modernist architecture.
The block is at the top of a (steep) hill and so has good views across South East London and Kent (you can just about see the North Downs in the distance!). The bedroom is large, with a king-size bed.
The flat is in Forest Hill in South East London and is a 10-minute walk to the train station where there are direct trains to London Bridge station (12 minutes) in central London. There are also buses from the end of my road into central London.
The unusual and superb Horniman museum and gardens (www.horniman.ac.uk)and a largish Sainsbury's supermarket are a short walk away.
