Lovely 5 Bed home in St. Clements, Truro, England

Our house is a beautiful 5 bedroom Grade II listed house with outdoor heated swimming pool in one of the most stunning counties in England. The house is a very central base to explore the beautiful Cornwall beaches and countryside.

It is built in mellow granite and abutts the stunning countryside area of St. Clements, "an area of outstanding beauty"; it is a rare house as one half is VERY rural and yet round the corner is the city of Truro within a 15 min walk. The house is attached to a similar house next door. However, due to the large garden and abundance of trees you wouldn't even know our neighbours are there (who are delightful by the way). Overall the house has a very private country house feel.

We are set on the top of a hill, but we are very sheltered because of the trees and there are glimpses of the open countryside from the upstairs rooms.
Truro is a beautiful cobbled city, but due to the hill, it is a steep climb back up to the house. We sometimes advise friends and guests to take a ?3 taxi drive back from town.

The garden is a children's magnet with outdoor heated swimming pool, treehouse and zip wire (suitable for over 7's I would say due to height) trampoline and wooden swings and climbing frame.

The house is very comfortable but is not imposing. It has a very warm, comfortable family feel which I hope reflects the ethos of the owners.

Inside, the house is very spacious with a large, sunny eat-in kitchen with Aga cooking only! playroom, large living room, study, utility room and toilet.

Upstairs we have a master bedroom ensuite and four further bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. We could promise you a comfortable stay. Saying that, we we are happy to swap with any size house as long as it has three bedrooms as we are more interested in having a holiday.

This is are first attempt at house swapping for holidays and we are looking for this October half term. We are looking forward to our new holidays and hope you will enjoy our house and the stunning beauty of Cornwall.

We are also interested in short weekend breaks.
