Lovely 5 Bed home in Slane, Ireland

Our house is a traditional Irish farmhouse built in 1890 but totally refurbished and extended to 3300sq ft. It is situated on a hill on 4 acres of land in garden, paddock and hilly meadow...It overlooks the Boyne Valley, and has views over 6 counties with the Dublin mountains in the distance to the South.
We are 3 miles from historic Slane Castle, which plays host to a huge music festival every summer. We are a 45 minute drive from Dublin airport and an hour from Belfast in Northern Ireland. Our house is located on the highest hill in the area. At one point the famous irish band Thin Lizzy with Phil Lynott used the house as a rehersal studio because of its acoustics and quiet location. East coast beaches are 35 minutes away by car, and the famous Newgrange ancient burial site is 8 miles away with the Hill of Tara, seat of the High Kings in olden days, about 12 miles away. This area is popular because its largely unspoiled with our local village of Slane almost unchanged in over 150 years. We hope you like our home.
