Walking distance to centre of town is 10 mins. The house is situated in the beautiful Borders of Scotland close to several castles, including Hermitage Castle. We are also about 1 hour 30 mins south of Edinburgh so it is easy to make it for a day trip. You can also explore the northern English city of Newcastle easily from our location but most people love to come here because of the many beautiful walks, cycle routes, fishing and outdoor activities on offer.
