2nd Floor apartment in 100-yr old traditional style buidling - Barcelona

Charming, bijou (i.e. small - 60 sq m) 2nd-floor flat in 100 yr-old building with original wooden beams in ceilings, 2 mins from nearest metro station (9 mins to city centre), and 10 mins walk from beautiful beach. There are 2 double bedrooms (dbl bed in each), one with a small balcony overlooking a quiet pedestrian street. The main area is open plan with American-style kitchen and living-dining area. The bathroom has a shower but no bath.

Our neighbourhood, Poblenou, has many wonderful restaurants and lovely old bars. Barcelona is an exciting, vibrant city and a mecca for artists and musicians. Surrounding attractions such as the Costa Brava (north) and Costa Dorada (South) are a short, 40 or 20 -min train ride.

N.B: Flat is 2nd floor, no lift. Would be suitable for 2 couples, or a couple + 1 (there are only 2 beds).

About the location

Please note that I work in education and am restricted to school holidays. Also, since I don`t own a second home, any swaps must be simultaneous.
