The flat forms part of a traditional Scottish “tenement” block, with a shared stairway. The accommodation is on the first floor, giving wonderful views of the Georgian buildings opposite.
Stockbridge has excellent shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. The Botanic Gardens are a 10 minute walk away and the city’s river, the Water of Leith, flows nearby. You can walk up the river to the Gallery of Modern Art, or down it towards Leith and the sea. The flat is only a 15 minutes walk from Princes Street and Waverley rail station.
