We have a comfortable and stylish Victorian family home with gardens & distant sea views in the vibrant & thriving city of Brighton. We also have a friendly black & white cat called Felix plus Hamish the dog who is a miniature Schnauzer / Poodle cross . Hamish travels with us when possible but cat sitting for Felix is always welcome.

Tennis/park 100 m away,golf 400 m, beach/national park 2km . Spacious, warm, airy light & modern Victorian home, with 2 double bedrooms ( one en suite with balcony and both with sea views) one twin bedroom, one study with double sofabed, two living rooms, huge well equipped kitchen/diner with table to seat 8 -10 and corner sofa. Wi fi and cable tv. Large patio doors from the kitchen opening onto walled garden with decked area, hammock and bbq/fire pit in summer. Our teenage son`s study/chillax room (2nd living room ) has a real fire and opens onto kitchen.

Lounge with sea views and 3 sofas. Bathroom & 2nd wc; bedroom with two single beds; large master bedroom with kingsize bed, 3 armchairs , sea views; Original Victorian attic room with balcony, double bed, new en suite shower room and more sea views.

Our taste is uncluttered, light and modern. The house is clean & well cared-for. Finally fully renovated. We have one friendly cat, Felix, who will ideally need feeding and cuddling during our home exchange. If not he can go on holiday to his favourite cattery. We prefer to take our dog Hamish with us wherever we go, but he can go into kennels sometimes.

About the location

Safe tree lined family friendly area with lots of local shops, two parks, multiple tennis courts, cafes and two good pubs serving tasty food within 5 minutes walk. Excellent bus links to the centre of the city/ beach if you dont want to walk. Popular with professional families. Brighton has a vibrant gay/lesbian community, massive Pride Festival in August. Brighton has lots of artistic talent and too much more to describe. Car not needed.
