Lovely 2 Bed home in London SE1, England

Our modern, Central London apartment overlooks the Thames, with views of the City and St Paul’s Cathedral. We are 10 minutes walk from Tate Modern, the London Eye, Globe and National Theatres, with Parliament, Covent Garden, the West End and City of London a 20 minute walk away. There are excellent public transport links and nearby jettys (for boat trips to Greenwich or Hampton Court), plus 2 adult bikes for leisurely rides along the river.

Although in the centre of a vibrant city, the apartment is peaceful, warm and comfortable and the river provides a tranquil, interesting setting. We are looking for weekend exchanges in the UK or Europe - any destination considered - sometimes with a few other family members, but mainly just for 2 of us. We are also hoping to spend 2 or 3 weeks in Sydney for Christmas 2009.

Our family is myself (mother, 48) and my daughter (22). Our home is spacious and simple with TV, video, DVD, stereo, washing machine and microwave. There are 2 double bedrooms with double beds and a spare single mattress and very large sofa.

We cannot have pets in our apartment but we are happy to look after any pets in your home. We also have neighbours who will show you the local area and how everything in the flat works.

Our home is not really designed for small children but we are happy to accomodate very small babies or older children. We will treat your home with care and respect and are looking forward to experiencing different lifestyles at home and abroad.
