Lovely 5 Bed home in Edinburgh, Scotland
We live in North Berwick,a beautiful seaside town 26 miles from Edinburgh. We live in local quarried stone double upper; that is to say the top two floors of a very large house. It is a family home with high ceilings and bags of character with fireplaces in each of the rooms.
The local town is geared up for visitors, but is also very much a living town. We live 3 minutes from the beach and golf course and 5 minutes from the train station that takes you direct to Edinburgh. Local attractons include a seabird centre, restaurants, sailing club and copious walks both on the beach and inland. This really is a very beautiful setting for a holiday and has the added benefit of direct trains to both Edinburgh and Glasgow. We love living here!
