Family Cottage

We live in a surprisingly large and light cottage in a small, friendly village. The 3 double bedrooms make it a great venue for a weekend away with friends and family. We have stunning views onto a neighbouring field. Our cottage is equipped with an Aga, wood burners and a lovely south facing large garden with BBQ.

The village has a friendly pub and local shop within walking distance from the cottage. We are 15 minutes drive from the cathedral city of Salisbury and located just inside the New Forest.

About the location

The New Forest provides walking as well as great pubs for lunches and evening meals. Many people cycle or ride horses out on the forest where there are free roaming New Forest ponies, donkeys and cattle. Families will also love Moors Valley with lots of outdoor activities including `Go Ape` and there is also Paultons Park with Peppa Pig World only 15 minute drive away.

If you are keen on history there is Salisbury Cathedral, Old Sarum and Stonehenge within easy reach.

Nearby towns include Romsey, Fordingbridge, Ringwood, Winchester and Southampton. London can be visited for a day trip and a trip to the beach is only 40 minute drive away.
