10 minutes walk from the beach and use of our beach hut and hot tub

3 bedroom house in ideal location for beaches and exploring. 10 minutes from sandy beaches, great beach cafes and 2 minutes from cliff tops walks.

Good public transport links and local shops. Supermarket and leisure centre nearby. There is a good eating pub 10 mins walk away or a 15 minute walk into either Shanklin or Sandown which have pubs, restaurants and cafes. Shanklin seafront offers great traditional family seaside fun with children`s rides, amusements, icecream parlour, crazy golf and lots of seaside cafes and pubs to relax in.

Our house has 1 double bedroom and 1 single bedroom available to use. Good size garden with summerhouse and hot tub. There is a decked area with comfy rattan furniture. Lounge with Freeview TV and DVD. Large kitchen/diner and bathroom with electric shower over.

The Isle of Wight has much to offer - walking, watersports, cycling, golf and many lovely beaches. There are quaint thatched villages, Victorian seaside towns, and many natural, historical and archeological places of interest as well as many family attractions. The scenery and attractions are diverse but nowhere is far to drive or get to by public transport. A mini England on one island. See www.visitisleofwight.co.uk for tourist information.

We also have a little beach hut on our local beach which swappers will be welcome to use. The hut is equipped with a camping gas cooker, chairs, and a one man kayak. A few yards along the beach is a watersports centre if you wanted to be more adventurous! Also has a good café.

About the location

Lake is a small town sitting on the cliffs between the tourist resorts of Shanklin and Sandown. It is approx. a 15 minute walk to either of the towns which both offer family fun and places to eat and drink. From our house it is 2 minute walk to the cliff top walk and a further 5 minutes walk down to the beach. There is a lovely wide revetment walk along the beach to Shanklin or Sandown dotted with beachside cafe`s en route.
