Beautiful Art Deco house in the historical center of the town of Niort, middle west of France, in between the wonderful harbour of La Rochelle and the Roman city of Poitiers.
About the location
Our house is well located in the ancient part of the city, in a very quiet street nearby shops and good restaurants. The amazing market where you will find good fish, farm eggs and cheese, beautiful fruit and vegetables is only 5 minutes walk and several path will lead you to the river.
Lovely sandy beaches and Atlantic islands at only 1 hour drive. Bordeaux and wine area are only 2 hours drive, Loire valley castles as well, Paris at 2 1/2 hours by high speed train. Perfect to visit many interesting places, in the very sunny region of Poitou-Charentes.
