An elegant spacious family home in a picturesque village in the beautiful Peak District National Park. We overlook the magnificent Chatsworth Estate and Stately Home of the Duke of Devonshire (open to visit) - watch the 2005 film of Pride & Prejudice, filmed at Chatsworth. Stanage edge, the rocky outcrop where Kiera Knightley looks out over the stunning Derbyshire Dales, is just above our house. The countryside is suberb, a walker's and cyclist's paradise (bikes available). Nearby are lovely country pubs and restaurants.
We are 1/2 hr from the smart bars and shops of Sheffield and the beautiful historic city of York is about an hour away. In the heart of England we have easy access to all of the UK. London under 3 hrs by train.
