Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile are a 15 minute walk from the apartment (or a short bus ride, the apartment being near all the main transport routes including Haymarket train station). A numer of well known golf courses are in the city and near by, and there is some great salmon fishing within an hours drive of Edinburgh.
