Bellingham is surrounded by natural beauty and the Cascade mountains with many day hiking, backpacking and fishing destinations. The San Juan Islands, boating, bicycling, sightseeing and whale watching are a one-hour ferry ride away. Lakes, streams, and beaches are within walking distance in town.
Both Vancouver Canada and Seattle Washington are less than 100 miles away.
