Lovely 6+ Bed home in Somerset, England

This is a fabulous base for anyone wanting to experience a genuine slice of beautiful rural Somerset, with lots of lanes with very little traffic - a cyclist's paradise. We have a huge old house full of character and wobbly floorboards, with an AGA in the kitchen, and a one acre garden.

We are on the outskirts of the village of Somerton, within 5 minutes walk of several good local shops, including a PO, two butchers and a health food store, and three pubs.

We are within very easy reach of a multitude of National Trust properties including Stourhead and Montacute House, and other attractions such as the stunning Roman city of Bath, one hour away, and the cathedral city of Wells 30 minutes drive away. The unique town of Glastonbury is just 15 minutes drive.

In the other direction, 25 minutes away is Sherborne with Sir Walter Raleigh's castle and the town abbey and a multitude of beautiful Georgian buildings.
