Our house is situated in a prime area in Hout Bay – Ruyteplaats Estate (app. 20min drive from the city of Cape Town) and offers fantastic view over the valley of Hout Bay to the scenic bay with the lighthouse of Kommetje at night.

It offers 2 separate units: the main house and a guest cottage.

Ruyteplaats Estate is a well spaced residential area with over 80 houses, which is positioned just below the Table Mountain nature reserve. The estate is attended day and night by security guards.
Shopping, doctors, beaches and lifestyle activities within 5 min car drive.
Plenty of beautiful foot paths invite you for a walk in the lovely nature or around the Lalamanzi lake, self landscaped by the Estate. The tennis court belongs to the estate and can be used by residents and guests.
Many hiking trails are just a few minutes car drive away. The trail leading up to the “Back Table” and “Little Lion´s Head” are both reachable from the estate by foot.
The wonderful white sandy beach of Llandudno (Llandudno is one of the most famous and expensive residential areas of Cape Town) or Sandy Bay (Nudist Beach) is only a 20 minute walk away from Ruyteplaats Estate.
