Cosy 60m² apartment on the 4th floor of a traditional 19th century building parallel to the beautiful Vondelpark.

While being in the centre of the city and within walking distance from Jordaan and Muesumplein, you will be in an authentic neighbourhood, with local shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby.

The main living area has a large window overlooking the street bathed with the morning sun up until the afternoon.
The decoration is modern, minimal and cosy. You can relax in a wide 2 seat sofa, with a coffee table and a 43" TV and there's a 2 seats industrial wooden table with 2 modern black chairs.

In the same space there is a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, kettle, food processor, toaster, plates, glasses,…) and an island with gas hobs.

There is one bedroom with a double bed at the rear with an in-suite bathroom. The bedroom leads to a south-facing balcony overlooking the interior patio with the sun coming in the afternoon.

Carpeted stairs lead to the best part of the apartment. A 50m² terrace overlooking the city, with garden furniture to enjoy your morning coffee in the sun or a glass of wine contemplating the stars.

There is a 7-month kitten who would ideally stay but if you don’t like cats then he can be moved to a cattery.

About the location

While being in the heart of the city, Oud-West is a real Amsterdam neighbourhood. Around the corner, there is a shopping street with organic supermarkets, delicatessen, coffee spots, a bakery, etc. as well as coffee spots, restaurants, and bars ranging from neighbourhood to smart or cool.

You can people watch sitting in Le vin et le vain, enjoy a good dish of pasta in La Spaghetteria, or taste the beers at the women-run brewery Gebrouwen doo rvrouwen.
Also around the corner there is the cult cinema Lab111 located in an old laboratory.

Less than 5 min away you can find the busy Kinkerstraat, where you can find some famous shops as well as a local market that opens from Monday to Saturday. Also near Kiknerstraat there is the Foodhallen, an old tram remise turned into a multi-space venue with a wide variety of cuisines, a cinema, galleries and shops.

The apartment is parallel to Vondelpark and is a 15 minute walk away from the cute Jordaan. It's a 15 minute walk to the Anne Frank house, 20 minutes to Dam square.

Although the city is easy to walk around I'd recommend renting a bike, or hiring a boat on a nice day to navigate the city through its canals.
