Spacious, sunny home with backyard in quiet Philadelphia neighborhood

Our three-story home is in a leafy Philadelphia neighborhood 15 minutes from downtown. The house was fully renovated in 2015, and is south facing so it gets lots of sunlight during the day. The outdoor porch provides a great place to watch the world go by on our quiet residential street.

On the first floor, the porch entryway leads directly into the living room, with a comfy modern couch (pulls out to a queen sofa bed), bookshelves, kids toys, books, and stereo with a record collection. The half bathroom is located before the kitchen. The modern open plan kitchen/dining room is fully stocked with gas oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and small appliances. Through the back door, you can access our spacious backyard, which is fully enclosed and safe for kids, with a patio table, grill, sandbox/kid toys, and firepit that you are welcome to use.

On the second floor (upstairs), the sunny front bedroom has a queen bed and a home office. The bathroom has a bath and shower, with the washer/dryer on this floor. The back bedroom is set up with a toddler bed, with the option of adding another single bed.

On the third floor, the sunny front master bedroom has a king bed, with a desk area as well as books. The master bath has a double vanity, Jacuzzi tub, and walk-in shower. The middle bedroom is very small and has a crib. The rear of the third floor is open plan, and is set up as a reading nook with an armchair and bookshelves. The chair folds out to a surprisingly comfy single/twin bed.

Our home is set up for young children (with books, toys, duplos, highchairs, etc) and is fully childproofed.

We also have a friendly cat that can go on vacation during your time at our home, or we can arrange for him to be fed.

There are custom blinds/curtains throughout the home, and we also have fast wifi internet as well as central air conditioning and heating.

About the location

We love our Cedar Park neighborhood! It's in West Philadelphia, just west of the University of Pennsylvania, four miles outside downtown Philadelphia. There are at least four parks and playgrounds within a 15 minute walk.

Our home is located on a quiet street 2 blocks away from shopping, cafes, restaurants, independent shops, and public transportation (trolley and bus). You can be downtown on the trolley in 15 minutes and have access to Philadelphia's amazing museums, restaurants (including Michelin-starred), the river, and other historical sites. We are near running and biking trails.

We are also a 15 minute drive from Philadelphia International Airport and the Amtrak station. The area nearby has a range of beautiful natural sites (e.g. Bartram's Garden), nature preserves, botanical gardens, beaches, and lots of family-friendly activities. New York and Washington, DC, are within 3 hours travel time.
