Our 4 bedroom 3 bathroom home is spacious, with lots of natural light, sea views, and has a large garden. The top floor has the master bedroom with garden views, a king sized bed, an en-suite bathroom. The top flood includes two more double bedrooms with sea views. The middle floor has a large living room with sea views and a Juliet balcony, perfect for morning coffee in the sunshine. A family bathroom with bath. A dining room and well equipped kitchen with garden views, and a brand new American fridge freezer with water and ice dispenser, dishwasher, oven, gas stovetop, and microwave. On the ground floor is the fourth double bedroom with patio doors that open on to the private garden. This room also makes a beautify work or relaxation space in daytime. There is a full bathroom including shower on the ground floor as well as a utility with garden access, with a washing machine, separate tumble dryer, and storage. We have a beautifully landscaped garden, with a large patio, lawn, a well planted tiered section, and a top deck with sea views. The house is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in a peaceful family neighbourhood.

About the location

Our neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful on the hillside with coastal views. It has no through-road, only footpaths, so there is very little traffic. There is a playground at the end of our road, and three green spaces for children to play. Swanpool beach with its wonderful swimming and water sports is a short walk downhill through the neighbourhood path (7 mins). Swanpool nature reserves is 5 minutes’ walk away and is home to rich bird life and a popular fishing spot. Falmouth Golf Course with its spectacular coastal greens and pitch and putt is at the top of the hill (8 mins walk). Pendennis Castle built by King Henry the VII can be seen from our home, and a 30 minute walk away. Walking along the coastal path you can reach the beautiful beaches of Gyllyngvase (15 mins) and Maenporth (35 mins). The centre of Falmouth town with its rich array of shops, restaurants, museum, art gallery, cinema, swimming pool, gyms, and bars is a 20 minute walk.

By car or public transport (bus or train) Cornwall offers fabulous culture, heritage and nature to explore. From ancient standing stones, Celtic sites, tropical gardens like the Eden Project, breath-taking outdoor theatre at Minack, to coastal and hilltop walks, world-class surfing destinations like Fistral, stunning sailing opportunities along the rivers and coastline, and vibrant shopping and restaurant centres like Truro, Padstow, Newquay, and St Ives (host of the G7 2021). The train station is 15 minutes’ walk from our home, linking you up with the national rail network with easy access to London, and Newquay airport is 45 minutes’ drive with connections within the UK and abroad.
