Lovely 2 Bed home in York, England

Our much loved home is a late Victorian cottage style house at one end of a row of five. It is on a quiet residential street with front and secluded rear gardens a one minute walk from the River Ouse. It is a lovely 15 minutes tree lined riverside walk into the centre of historic York and there are footpaths and cycle-paths into the surrounding countryside and to nearby villages. Shops, restaurants, cafes, museums, theatres, cinemas and many other facilities are all within walking distance of our home.
The walled city of York is a major world class tourist destination with over 2,000 years of history and is also ideal for visiting the National Parks of the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales as well as the fishing villages of the North Yorkshire coast. There are excellent transport links including direct train connections to London and Edinburgh.
Our home has a lounge with bay window looking onto the front garden and a large rear kitchen/diner/lounge with doors opening onto a patio area and walled flower garden with trees at the rear. Upstairs there are three bedrooms one with a king size bed and two more which are used as sitting rooms and studies one of which has a very comfortable futon- bed. There is a spacious bathroom with toilet, bath and shower as well as a downstairs washroom.
