Modern four bedroom house set in beautiful countryside location with views on three sides. There are four bedrooms. The main bedroom has a super king bed,ensuite and balcony. Second bedroom has a king-size bed, ensuite and balcony. Third has a double bed and the fourth has a single with extra single pullout bed. There is a family bathroom with shower and bath as well.

Downstairs has a large hall,open plan kitchen,living room with bifold doors to outside seating area. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a separate utility room with washer and dryer.

Outside there is a parking area for two cars, a large lawn and seating area.

About the location

Farmland surrounds the house and the views are extensive. The Grand Western Canal is a five minute walk away and has lots of benches to sit, have a picnic or enjoy the wildlife. The canal basin at Tiverton which is about a four mile level walk has a museum, children`s playpark, horse drawn barge with trips up the canal, cafe and where you can also hire canoes and rowing boats for a fun day out.

The Grand Western Canal is well maintained and home to swans, geese, kingfishers, otters, voles and lots of fish. A horse-drawn boat provides another attraction, and gentle rides.

Halberton itself has a Farm shop, pub, two historic churches and good transport links to Exeter, Taunton and Tiverton parkway railway station.

Nearby Tiverton is a market town. It has a good museum, some National Trust property, River Exe walks, a Castle and three supermarkets. Nearby village of Bickleigh is very picturesque with bridge over the Exe, lovely tearooms, a historic railway centre, and a Castle.

Tiverton parkway is closeby with trains to London,Bristol,Cornwall etc.

Halberton is four miles from the M5 motorway. Exmoor National Park is within 10 miles and provides great days out for walking,picnicking and spotting wildlife with wild ponies and deer.

The nearest seaside is Exmouth, which is about 40 minutes away. Dawlish is about the same distance. You can travel to other destinations such as Minehead, Woolacombe,Ilfracombe within an hour.

There are many good Pubs and restaurants in the area and lots of places to enjoy a Devon cream tea.
