Our house in Newcastle upon Tyne in the north-east of England is a stylish Victorian terraced property built in 1875. It has 3 bedrooms and is in a very good area of the city, about 2km from the centre. It's a vibrant city with two major art galleries, shops, cathedral etc. We are close to the Roman Wall which is about 30 mins drive and near to some fantastic walking country. The coast is spectacular with great beaches and birdlife. It is also dotted with ancient castles. Newcastle is on the London to Edinburgh rail line - 3 hours to London and 1 1/2 to Edinburgh.
