Lovely Sussex village

Ashington is a pretty West Sussex village halfway between Horsham, a characterful market town and the south coast town of Worthing.

Our 4 bedroom house was built in 1999 and is at the end of a very quiet cul de sac with trees and fields beyond. We have converted one bedroom to an art/craft room which you are welcome to use if you would like to.

Downstairs is a good size kitchen diner and a conservatory overlooking a pretty garden, we have a comfy lounge and dining room.

The garden has a barbeque and garden furniture on a decking area and comfy chairs on the patio.

About the location

There are lovely country walks from our front door including the South Downs Way which runs along the South Coast in an area designated of outstanding natural beauty.

Brighton is our nearest city, half hour by car or 1 hour by bus. Horsham is an old country town with a weekly market is 25mins by bus from the village. From Horsham you can reach London by train in just over an hour.

Worthing and the coast is a 15 min drive or 20 mins by bus and the delightful cities of Chichester and Arundel are within 1/2 hour by car.

Historic Parham house and gardens and the RSPB sanctuary are very close and there are many pretty Sussex villages to explore, pubs to eat in, museums and art galleries.

Ashington village has a mini supermarket, post office, pharmacy, and an pub serving excellent meals. the main road (A24) is about a half mile away. Storrington, 3 miles away is the nearest small town.
