Modern, Light, & Sunny - Hamilton, North Island

This 15 year-old house is in a pleasant and attractive suburb of Hamilton. It is situated close to the scenic Waikato River with attractive river walks starting just down the road.Supermarkets and shopping areas are 5 to 10 minutes away by car,and the City Centre is a 15 minute drive. A bus service is available just around the corner.

The house is modern and light with open plan dining and living areas, and french windows opening to the patio and garden. There are three bedrooms, one which is currently used as an office but can alternate as a 3rd bedroom. The main bedroom is ensuite (shower and toilet) and there is a separate bathroom with shower, bath, and toilet. There is a double garage with automatic door, and internal access to the house. The garden is small, peaceful,and very private. Depending on the time of year there may be a supply of vegetables.

Children are welcome here - I have a cot and a high-chair available, and the garden is fully fenced to prevent little ones from wandering off

About the location

Hamilton is a University City, NZ`s 4th largest, and is the centre of the Waikato dairying district. Served by an airport and railway, it is an ideal centre for visiting the main North Island attractions. Easy day trips from Hamilton are Auckland City, Rotorua, Lake Taupo, and Coromandel Beaches. Lake Karapiro,home of the 2010 World Rowing Champs,is a 20 minute drive, and about 45 minutes gets you to the Hobbiton Movie Set.

The North Island ski-fields are about a 4 hour drive.
