The house is on three floors. First there is a converted 'cantina' which serves as a kitchen and dining area. The living room is on the middle floor, with traditional floor tiles and original ceiling beams. The front door opens onto a small private terrace. Upstairs, two cosy double rooms provide beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, and there is a newly-fitted bathroom, with basin, toilet and powerful shower.

Cardoso is an attractive, friendly village. Its hilltop location and car-free alleyways ensure peace and tranquility throughout the day. There are two bars which sell traditional produce alongside everyday necessities.

Lucca is a 40-minute drive away, Pisa 1 hour 30 minutes, and Florence 2 hours.
