Maylands is an inner-city suburb consequently a supermarket, chemist, doctors and every type of restaurant are within 1km. The train station to Perth is 250m or 5 minute walk away. Perth centre is a 9 minute ride and trains run throughout the day every 15 minutes and every 30 minutes after 7pm.
Buses run throughout day along Beaufort Street between Perth and Morley less than a kilometre away.
Perth has all the facilities of a modern capital city.
