Beautiful desert home, with a private pool, bikes and gorgeous weather - Phoenix

A lovely three-bedroom, 3 full bathroom, single floor home (one of the bedrooms is used as an office but has a queen-sized Murphy bed. All the beds in the home are queen size. It features a spacious and open kitchen/reception, that leads out to the large shaded patio.

Arizona, and Phoenix in particular, has gorgeous weather almost year-round, with the Spring and Fall being particularly attractive. As it's a desert climate the heat is dry, not humid, and perfect for swimming, golfing, hiking or simply sitting around and enjoying the view.

This property has been decorated to a high standard throughout, and includes a large Samsung Smart TV in the living area as well as a large TV in the master bedroom, high speed broadband, and cable channels. (Plus our Netflix account, so you can take advantage of the American shows while you're over!) There's also table tennis! The modern kitchen is fully equipped and we have a new washer and dryer. The property comes with use of our car and two adult bikes.

The main back patio has a pool, a gas grill for those keen to take advantage of year-round BBQ weather, a tranquil cactus garden, lounge chairs and even an orange tree. It backs onto the Arizona Biltmore Resort golf course, for a lovely view framed by bougainvillea.

For those interested in exploring the United States on their visit, we also have a beautiful flat in Kansas City on offer. It has 3 bedrooms, plus vehicle provided, and is located on the 11th floor of a 12 story building, with great views of the area. It is located on the Country Club Plaza a high-end entertainment and shopping district in the city center. We are happy to offer both homes to the same people, if that is of interest. Kansas City is a beautiful location with the world class Nelson Atkins Museum of Art walking distance from our flat, The Jazz Museum, The only National WWI Museum in the USA and numerous other cultural attractions. We're famous for our BBQ, steaks and fried chicken.

About the location

The home is in the quiet, but conveniently located, Arizona Biltmore Resort neighborhood-- a friendly, gated community that comes with shared maintenance and security professionals. It is within a ten minute walk of the elegant Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa (designed by Frank Lloyd Wright), which offers multiple pools, a golf course, restaurants, bars, a gymnasium and spa facilities.

The property is near the beautiful Piestewa Peak Park, Phoenix Mountain Park, Phoenix Mountain Preserve, Dreamy Draw Recreation Center and Camelback Mountain, all of which are perfect for hiking. It is also by the Salt River Project canal, which is both scenic and (happily) flat - ideal for both walking and biking.

This location offers the best of both worlds - the tranquility of desert life and the amenities of a large cosmopolitan city. There are numerous shops and restaurants and other attractions a very short drive or walk away. These include: a cinema, bank, multiple grocery stores, innovative restaurants, and a high-end shopping mall. Phoenix offers many high-quality attractions such as the Phoenix Zoo, The Wildlife World Animal Park, The Desert Botanical Gardens, Deer Valley Petroglyph Preserve, Heard Museum of Native Cultures and Art, Phoenix Art Museum, the Children's Museum and the Pueblo Grande Archaeological Park to learn about the local native tribes.

If you fancy a day trip to surrounding areas, Arizona is home to some of our most majestic natural wonders, including the Grand Canyon and the Saguaro National Forest. Tuscon is a charming town featuring two astronomical observatories and caves with stalactites. Not far from it is the (in)famous Tombstone, sight of the shootout at the OK Corral when Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday faced off against the Clantons. And these are just a small fraction of what the state of Arizona has to offer. It's a 4 1/2 hour drive from Phoenix and less than an hour flight from Phoenix to Las Vegas.
