I am a very active pensioner who become a widower 4 months after I retired in 1993. Since 1995 I have travelled extensively much of it by cycle. During 96 and 97 I enjoyed home exchange experience (with Green Theme) in Canada and Australia and still keep in touch with most of those exchangees. My partner Dorothy a widow (we met 3 years ago) enjoys long distance walking so a slight change in my lifestyle has now arisen and a very good excuse to relocate to Yorkshire the largest and most beautiful county in the UK. We like to spend quality time in a warmer climate during the UK winter (South Africa early 2008) and my apartment in Settle is free anytime of the year but May to September is a good time to visit.
