Our flat is situated in fashionable Biarritz and is also just a stone’s throw from the beautiful medieval town of Bayonne in southwest France. Both have lively centres, with abundant shops, boutiques, and restaurants, as well as Biarritz’ own ballet company.
The flat is on the 7th floor of an apartment building in the centre of town, with views over the rooftops to the lighthouse and the sea. From the flat, it is a 4 minute walk to the seashore and a short drive to the countryside and the foothills of the Pyrenees. The Spanish border is an easy 30 minute drive, and the wonderful city of San Sebastian is only 45 minutes away.
Bob is a retired American and Janet is English.
Our “garden” is a 40-square-meter terrace where we spend every sunny day! The apartment has an open-plan living room / kitchen that opens onto a small balcony with a sea view. There are two bedrooms, an independent master bathroom and an en-suite shower room to the second bedroom. This second bedroom also serves as our TV room.
We prefer to exchange somewhere with easy access to Richmond-Upon-Thames. Sorry, but we cannot exchange during July or August.
