Close to Lagrasse, in south-west France & 1 min from stunning wild swimming, our holiday home is a spacious, stylish & comfortable. Located in the pretty village of Ribuate, Corbières, Southern France.

The property includes a private entrance, spacious & light living area, balcony dining room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, brand new luxury bathroom with WC +separate WC.

We have included lots of small details for the perfect break, you'll find a large smart TV, board games, a super DVD library & plenty of books to help you unwind. We also have maps and lots of books on the area if you're interested in exploring Occitanie.

From our house, it's just a two minute walk to the beautiful river L'Orbieu, making its way over cascading rock formations, creating waterfalls & swimming holes for the family to enjoy. It's a popular swimming spot in the summer months.

About the location

The Corbières region is renowned for wine making and there are many wineries in the area you can visit. We are also very handy for Carcassonne, the stunning walled Cite where you can explore ancient ramparts or enjoy a spectacular evening meal. If you’re interested in antiques, there are several amazing Brocante locations where you can pick up French antiques and wares – Michelle is always very happy to share her favourite shopping spots!

It’s an absolutely fascinating area with rivers, mountains, castles & stacks of history. A little further afield, you can get to Narbonne plage (beach) in just 30mins (Mediterranean coast), the Pyrenees mountains in 45mins (ski, visit thermal spas in the winter or hill walking in the summer), or if you’re looking for a really fun day out, jump on the train from Narbonne and head south and you’re in Barcelona in just 2hrs.
