Our house has been extensively renovated and modernised from the original 1920s building.

The house is double-fronted and largely single storey. On opening the door you are greeted by a wide timber-floored entranceway that opens out into an open-plan living area.

On the ground floor is the master bedroom with WIR and en suite, two further bedrooms, a large, modern bathroom with walk-in shower, bath, laundry area, open plan living dining and well-appointed kitchen. Outside is a large timber deck with roof, pizza oven, bbq and lawn.

The first floor offers an office bench, double bedroom and rooftop deck.

The separate studio apartment has dining/sitting area with kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom.

About the location

Northcote is without doubt the funkiest leafy suburb of the world`s most liveable city. Go south into hipster Fitzroy and Melbourne CBD, go north east to wineries, south east to Mornington peninsula and west to Yarraville and on to Geelong. Northcote offers bars, cafes, a vibrant music scene, and an enormous park featuring the confluence of two waterways on the doorstep. There are two train lines, a tram and an excellent bus service. The architecture is interesting and varied on account of being first developed as detached and semi-detached in the early 19thCentury, with a mixture of houses that have been renovated or completely replaced.
