Old farmhouse in rural location but only a few miles from small city of Elgin.
We live on a working farm so it can be a little busy and the house is not `fancy` but it does have everything that you need for a comfortable stay.
About the location
Home is in ideal situation for visiting beautiful Speyside area, filled with many whiskey distilleries for you to visit.
The Cairngorm mountains can be reached in around 1 hour with much hiking and mountaineering.
The beautiful Moray coastline is only a 15min drive away with fishing villages and gorgeous coastal walks.
The world famous Findhorn Foundation is a serene ecovillage nearby that is very interesting to visit.
Inverness, the capital of the Highlands of Scotland can be reached in 1.5 hours.
If you live golf then you will be spoilt for choice here.
