Four bed house in suburbs of Galway City, Ireland

Our home is a relaxed space in a pleasant suburban area, just a 15 minute bus ride to vibrant, musical Galway city and the west of Ireland coast. There are two double rooms, one with an on suite, and two single rooms, with another bathroom and also a down stairs toilet. We have a garden to the back which is partially dedicated to wildlife and is not overlooked. We use the local bus service to socialise in Galway, enjoying a great theatre and pub scene and some really excellent restaurants. All the usual facilities are in place.

We have a dog so the house has a kennel etc. in the side passage and we would be looking for similar.

About the location

The house is situated on the west coast of Ireland. It is a great base for exploring the beautiful Burren area of County Clare and west to Connemara, the Aran Islands, Clifden and many other areas just made for walking, surfing, swimming and hill-walking. There are many woodland walks within a 15 minute drive from the house and one just 10 minutes walk.

Galway is a small bohemian town, shopping is good, especially food shopping (with speciality shops like Sheridans and McCambridges) and the traditional arts play a big part in Galway`s cultural offerings.
